California Here We Come...

Thanks to SOAPnet, I've been transported back to middle school and have spent the last few days recapturing my love for The OC. The show makes me so nostalgic for middle and high school and simpler times when Adam Brody and Rachel Bilson were still a couple (work it out, you crazy kids!). Thanks to the OC, I fell in love with my first teen soap, wanted to move to Orange County, was eventually introduced to Laguna Beach and The Hills, and was able to discover awesome bands like Death Cab for Cutie, Rogue Wave, and Spoon. I'll admit it, the when I watched the Pilot and Model Home episodes over the weekend for the first time in years I def got sentimental hearing Phantom Planet's opening track and once again held out hope that Seth Cohen might exist...

You can't discuss music and The OC without some Death Cab.

Can't resist the banter and chemistry of Seth and Summer.

I never could get into the series after Marissa died.

Best moment from the pilot. And the accompanying song. Chills.

A Very Nerdy Valentine's Day

I will always be extremely nerdy, especially when it comes to pop culture, so these valentines are right up my alley. What's Valentine's Day without a little nerd humor, innuendo, and creepiness?

I'd spend my Valentine's Day with Neville in a heartbeat.

Obi-Wan knows the way to a girl's heart.
I will always crush on Han Solo.

Tom Haverford never was the smoothest.

And while this one isn't funny, it's still SO cool. The people behind The Hunger Games movie are sending these out to raise awareness from the film. A valentine from President Snow...now that's creepy.

I LoVVe You!

I haven't blogged in a really long time as last semester was easily the busiest one of my life (hello three internships and 16 credit hours), but I couldn't resist popping back in to the blogosphere to wish you all (the five of you that might still read this blog) love, love of yourself, love of your significant other, love of your friends, or love or your family, and of course happiness on this V(v)alentine's Day.
