Seeing Spots: My Way

While I've already covered some lustworthy leopard inspiration (see here), now I'd love to share some college-girl friendly leopard items that will add that extra paunch to your outfit without breaking the budget. So, go wild and look wild without spending like crazy!

London Rebel Ballet Flats here.
Ivanka Trump Pumps here.
J Crew Shirt here.
Topshop Scarf here.
Asos Clutch here. My favorite pick, can't wait to buy it for fall :)

All under $100, now that's something I can approve of. What's your favorite leopard piece? Do you DIE for it like my friend L?

Seeing Spots: The Inspiration

In honor of my friend L, this post is all about spots - specifically leopard print. L loves ANYTHING leopard (she almost bought leopard print potholders), and this love has started rub off on me. While I'm becoming a fan of this wild trend, I prefer my leopard in small doses - usually one piece per look - in order to keep it from looking too Real Housewives of New Jersey (God love them) and to keep it always tres chic. Rawr.

{Who can resist a pair of Louboutins? I don't think they could ever look trashy}

{This scarf looks soooo luxurious. I'm adding it to the long list of things that make me wish I lived somewhere with a real winter}
{Olivia Palermo can do no wrong in my fashion book (see here and here) and this killer combo of a leopard dress with orange pumps is so unexpected, but genius. I'll keep doing my best to copy that OP style. Plus how hot is Johannes?)
{I love this clutch. I've been lusting after a similar one since my bff Twindie bought a similar one at Zara last winter. I've found a similar one and can't wait to share it with you soon. A clutch is a perfect way to add a bit of "edge" to your outfit if you are like me and aren't a big risk-taker.}
{These ballet flats are TOO cute! I love all things purple, so the bows are perfect. I need to find a pair similar to these to wear all over campus in the fall.}
{This outfit is so chic. I need to keep working out, so I can don a mini skirt like that with confidence. I also would like more long hair back, please, so I can wear a ballerina bun.}

Enjoy this animalistic inspiration, fab readers, and your Monday!

Fashion Friday: Fashion Meets Food

This food has to be the most fashionable sustenance I've ever seen, perfect for Fashion Friday with Blonde Episodes. I love the kitschy and very ironic meeting of fashion and fast/junk food. I want to wrap these up and put them on display - forget eating them! Although, I wonder how much Hermes french fries would cost me...

Who knew gourmet could be so couture?

Friday's Fancies: The Power LWD

Today's Friday's Fancies, hosted by Long Distance Loving, is all about the LWD, the LBD's spunkier cousin, and for my version I decided to go big or go home. What's more over the top and commanding than a sleek Fendi dress paired with Louboutins and a Birkin? Friday's Fancies is all about dreaming big and this is definitely an outfit I can only afford in the dream world.

My inspiration came from one of my favorite TV shows, Entourage, that begins its final season this weekend. I could definitely imagine one of the strong female characters like Sloan or Mrs. Ari rocking this power outfit while still looking chic and feminine. Plus, LA is probably one of the only locales you can get away with wearing the LWD all year long Hopefully one day I'll be stomping in a pair of Loubs and looking as fierce. Happy Friday, everyone! I'm in Chicago for the weekend, but I cannot wait to check out the other fab looks when I return home!

Real Men Wear Pink {and Green}

Let's hear it for the boys! I love menswear, and real men wear pink and green (ahem JJF), such a fun, preppy look that can showcase a fella's confidence. So this Pink and Green Thursday is dedicated to all of the preppy gentlemen out there, keep it classy in pink and green!

Lust List: Chinoiserie Mirrors

Chinoiserie is definitely one of my favorite design trends, particularly when it comes to mirrors. I love this look, especially with a gold version. It would perfect in my imaginary black and white bedroom. Too bad I haven't found any college-budget friendly versions yet. I'll have to keep looking...

Maybe throw in some zebra and Chanel?

Are You a Preppie?

While these photos aren't from The Official Preppy Handbook (go read it. now.), they do like look they could some straight from the pages of that legendary guide. Now, go call up Muffy and Hilly because you'll be sure to pass the preppy test with flying colors.
