Fashion Friday: Is it Fall Yet? Nasty Gal Picks

One of my favorite shopping sites is Nasty Gal (weird name, I know ha). Some of their clothes and styling are a bit too hipster/edgy for me, but they do have some great pieces when styled the right way can look sophisticated. Fashion Friday: Anne Hathaway for Interview

Anne Hathaway looks stunning on the September cover of Interview Magazine. It is by far the best spread I've seen her in, and definitely helps me see her in a more mature, muse-worthy light (it's hard to move on from the Princess Diaries). The editorial is pure gothic beauty goodness and really gets me excited to see what Anne can do as Catwoman, since I'm a bit more convinced now that she can pull off the mysterious character. Loving this new dark angel...

Fashion Friday: Fall into Cobalt

While blue has always been one of my favorite colors to wear (I'm a blue, black, grey, and white girl), I'm especially loving pops of cobalt blue. I love cobalt as a transitional color from summer to fall since it's bright enough for the end of summer, but also looks great with darker, muted fall tones. Since it is so bright and powerful, just a little pop can add enough OOMPH to your ensemble. Are you also falling in love with cobalt for summer to fall?

Sorry skinny jeans, this Fall I'm going to be all about your flared cousin. If you couldn't tell, this Fashion Friday with Blonde Episodes, is all about my recent obsession with flared jeans. This cut is so much more flattering on me than a skinny pair since they make my hips like less wide and my legs look longer, and I love how they're worn either casual or if you want to get fancy (don't we all sometimes?) I recently bought a super cute pair of light wash flares from the Gap's 1969 denim line. Their Long and Lean fit is my favorite. They also frequently run sales, so it's rare that you will pay full price for a pair.
