Seeing Spots: The Inspiration

In honor of my friend L, this post is all about spots - specifically leopard print. L loves ANYTHING leopard (she almost bought leopard print potholders), and this love has started rub off on me. While I'm becoming a fan of this wild trend, I prefer my leopard in small doses - usually one piece per look - in order to keep it from looking too Real Housewives of New Jersey (God love them) and to keep it always tres chic. Rawr.

{Who can resist a pair of Louboutins? I don't think they could ever look trashy}

{This scarf looks soooo luxurious. I'm adding it to the long list of things that make me wish I lived somewhere with a real winter}
{Olivia Palermo can do no wrong in my fashion book (see here and here) and this killer combo of a leopard dress with orange pumps is so unexpected, but genius. I'll keep doing my best to copy that OP style. Plus how hot is Johannes?)
{I love this clutch. I've been lusting after a similar one since my bff Twindie bought a similar one at Zara last winter. I've found a similar one and can't wait to share it with you soon. A clutch is a perfect way to add a bit of "edge" to your outfit if you are like me and aren't a big risk-taker.}
{These ballet flats are TOO cute! I love all things purple, so the bows are perfect. I need to find a pair similar to these to wear all over campus in the fall.}
{This outfit is so chic. I need to keep working out, so I can don a mini skirt like that with confidence. I also would like more long hair back, please, so I can wear a ballerina bun.}

Enjoy this animalistic inspiration, fab readers, and your Monday!

A Touch of Coral

One of my favorite colors for summer is coral. I love, love, LOVE, pops of this bright, modern color in every medium: clothes, home decor, makeup, you name it. I love pink, but I don't think I wear it well - so coral is the perfect replacement. Unfortunately I don't own a lot of this lovely shade, so I'd love to get my hands on a clutch or lipstick like the beautiful coral ones below. Keep a look out for my post on normal girl shopping picks for this lovely shade. For now, just be inspired...

Can I just have this outfit, please? kthxbai.

What's your go-to summer color?

Pink and Green Thursday: Rose et Vert

Today's Pink and Green Thursday, hosted by the lovely Trish over at Pink Preppy Lilly Lover, I'm inspired by all things with a bit of a French flair. I've decided to start learning French, have posted a ton of French/Parisian inspired blogs, and I think seeing Midnight in Paris just might be to blame for all of this. All in all, who isn't inspired by the beautiful City of Lights? So enjoy today's ode to rose et vert, all pretty images with a dash of francophilia :)

A bit of Miss Dior Cherie:
Some macaroons and champagne:

Some Marie Antoinette decadence

Happy Pink and Green Thursday, and be sure to click the button below to link up if you blog! Au revoir!

Pink and Green Thursday: Recent Inspiration

For this lovely Pink and Green Thursday linkup with Pink Preppy Lilly Lover (join the fun!), I'll be sharing all of the beautiful things inspiring me. I've been absolutely tuckered from nannying three crazy kids, catching up with friends, and gearing up to start interning again, so I'm seizing and relishing all the time I get to look at those fabulous little things that make me dream...

Beautiful stairway with pretty pink ottomans, so girly!
Inspiring words for my last summer and year as a college student. Exciting/nervous times ahead, my friends!
A little bubbly and big city chic to keep dreaming of glamor..
Presh and unique cupcakes to try for my next event
Pink lips + green blazer = fresh take on a classic, preppy color combo.

What pretty little things inspire you all week long?

Princess Grace

Can I live inside this movie, please?

While I'm getting a bit tired of all the royal wedding craziness, Prince William's upcoming nuptials give me an excuse to look back on my favorite princess, Grace Kelly.

"Oh, this old thing?"

One of my favorite movies is Rear Window, and Kelly kills it as Jimmy Stewart's girlfriend and partner-in-crime. I mean if the name fits...

A moment on set with Hitchcock himself

A few years back, Vanity Fair did a spread featuring current actors in famous Hitchcock scenes. Scarlett Johansson and Javier Bardem did an honorable imitation of Grace and Jimmy. It was definitely one of my fave images:
