I love how fitting anything nautical is for summer, and what's more nautical than a boat? They embody such a classic, casual and preppy style. I miss the ocean (Arizona is severely lacking any bodies of water), but we all can dream can't we?

Housecrush: Porchlight Interiors
Porchlight Interiors are an Australian design firm that I've recently stumbled upon and added to my housecrushes. Their design aesthetic is clean, nautical, refreshing, and includes pops of color and beachiness. Here are some of my favorite Porchlight projects. Love.

Lust List: The Tipsy Skipper

I'm about to head out to pick my daddy dearest (aka GOPappa) up from the airport, but before I go I wanted to share with you a cute online shop I found while wasting time on the interwebs.
Let me introduce you to the Tipsy Skipper. First, I love the name! Nautical gets me every time, and the brand identity is built around having fun with friends on the sea. The company was founded by a graphic design student, Kearsley Lloyd, who is a descendant of Captain Morgan. Supporting small businesses, especially ones run by women, is a fave of mine, so I really recommend you check out the site! I may have to make a few purchases in time for summer!
Here are some my favorite Tipsy Skipper designs of the Captain Morgan Clutch:
All can be found here!
She also sells tote bags, key fobs, ballet flats, flip flops, and dog collars - all in even more awesome patterns! The site also has a great blog, The Tipsy Tattler, and I can't wait to dive in. Check her out, I'm quickly becoming a big fan!

Sea Setting
With the arrival of summer (one final left!) almost here, I'm dreaming of the beach and loving all things nautical. In fact, one of my favorite blogs is Seashells and Southern Belles, and it features all things sea-inspired.
One of my fave items: shell napkin holders! I think I would use these every dinner party
All of these can be found in stores or at Williams Sonoma website. Happy entertaining!
When I was in Williams Sonoma the other day, I stumbled upon some very nautical table settings that made me think of Seashells and Southern Belles and dream of the beach:
How adorable is this place setting? I love the plates by themselves, but with the starfish and sea blue/coral lined place mat they become even more amazing. These would be perfect in my imaginary beach house!
Mini spreaders with seashell handles - so presh!
Another view of the tableware with more shell decorations, I want to go to the beach STAT!
