Pink and Green Thursday: Back to School!

Today is the very first day of my senior year of college, and I have back to school fever! I love starting a new school year and all of the opportunity it has. One of my favorite parts of this new start is school supplies. Since I was little I've loved school supply shopping and getting all my new pencils, folders, notebooks, etc., so I could be the most prepared kid in school. While I've grown past the Lisa Frank days of yore, I thought I'd dedicate this Pink and Green Thursday to wonderful pink and green school supplies. Good luck this year, everyone!

Pink and Green Thursday: And I'm Off!

Farewell, friends! Today I'm off for Arizona and moving back to college for my senior year. The unknown of the real world is creeping up on me, so I plan to make the most of my last year! My family and I will be spending the next two days driving out to Arizona, so my posts will be less frequent until Monday. I'm going to miss my family and STL friends sooo much - I'm so close to them and can get so homesick. Pink and Green Thursday: Modern Day Princess

While I may not be a little kid any more, one long lasting effect that Disney has had on me is my love of princesses. Being in a fairytale is almost every girl's dream, due to in a large part Disney, and being in Disney World reminds me of those dreams.

One of my fave princesses was Snow White, can you tell?

It's especially fun to watch all the little kids experience the magic of Disney and how little girls can act out their princess fantasies in the parks. So many dressed up little princesses in costume!

One real life princess (ok, Duchesss) that inspires those dreams is Kate Middleton. To me, she is a Disney princess come to life and a great role model to little girls - right up there with Snow White and Cinderella. So this Pink and Green Thursday is all about Princess Kate and some of her fairytale looks from her North American tour.
